Christian P. Garcia

President / Owner

Chris is a veteran of 30-plus years in the publishing business. While most of his career has been in educational publishing, his academic background in history and his avocation for family stories drew him to help others enjoy the publishing process and experience the process of telling their family’s history. He edited a book of letters between his maternal grandparents, Joseph Bradford Lancaster and Amanda Doerr Lancaster that were written from 1901 to 1916. That publication, Now and Always: A Louisiana Love Story became the first family history published by Garcia Publishing Company. Chris received his undergraduate degree in History from Louisiana State University and his graduate degree in History from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He lives in Greenville, North Carolina, and is a proud native of Covington, Louisiana.
